FisherBroyles Continues to Grow its Intellectual Property Practice Group

FisherBroyles LLP, the nation’s first and world’s largest cloud-based distributed law firm partnership, announced today that James W. Hill has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a partner and member of the patent prosecution team, which is part of the firm’s intellectual property (IP) practice group. He is among a group of five new FisherBroyles IP attorneys, which also includes partners John Eisenhart, Elizabeth Haanes, Keats Quinalty and Cara Crowley-Weber.

Hill comes to FisherBroyles’ from Perkins Coie LLP, where he also was a partner. His extensive legal practice includes patent litigation and prosecution, strategic counseling, intellectual property due diligence and licensing in the areas of medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, software, and signal and imaging processing. He received his J.D. (cum laude) from Boston University, his M.D. from the University of Southern California, and his Bachelor of Science from California State University, Los Angeles.
